A few days ago, Toyota officially released the official pictures of the new Toyota Fortuner models, including the standard version and the Legender (legendary) version. The new car is positioned as a medium-sized SUV with a non-carrying body.
In terms of appearance, Toyota Fortuner’s appearance is basically the same as that of the current model. The front face details have been adjusted, and the headlights have become sharper. The interior uses a design of multiple LED light strips. With the regular polygonal design, the area of the lower air intake grille is further enlarged, making the appearance look more sporty.
Compared with the standard version, the Toyota Fortune Legendary Edition model has a big difference in the front face design. The wave-shaped front grille is matched with sharper fog lamp strips and the vent design on both sides, making the new car look younger.
In terms of interior, the interior of the new Toyota Fortuner basically continues the design of the current model. The overall design is more concise and stylish. The new car has been redesigned for its air-conditioning zone buttons, which looks more technological. In terms of configuration, the new Toyota Fortuner standard model is equipped with an 8-inch multimedia touch screen, and the legendary model is a 9-inch multimedia touch screen. The large multimedia screen also supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functions.
In addition, the legendary model is also equipped with wireless charging, ambient lights in the car, and blue backlit instruments. In terms of safety configuration, the new car is equipped with Toyota Safety Sense active safety system, including the preceding car pre-collision system, lane departure warning, ACC adaptive battery life and 360° panoramic image function.
In terms of power, the new car offers 2.7L gasoline and 2.8T diesel engines. The maximum power of the 2.7L gasoline engine is 122kW (166Ps) and the peak torque is 245Nm. The 2.8T diesel engine has a maximum power of 150kW (204Ps) and a peak torque of 500Nm. Compared with the current model, the power has been improved. The maximum power has increased by 20kW (27Ps) and the maximum torque has increased by 80Nm. In terms of transmission system, the new car is equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission, and a four-wheel drive system is optional.
