13 years after James Cameron’s release of Avatar, the sequel, Avatar: The Way of Water, was released in theatres this year. Avatar broke multiple records upon its release and is known to be a marvel of visual effects, computer graphics, story, concepts, and sheer imagination. The movie is estimated to have gross earnings of $2.9 billion.

James Cameron’s Avatar has been in ideation since 1994, and it was only in 2005 that production could begin when VFX was up to the standard of making entire virtual worlds. Mr. Cameron wanted to create a completely computer-generated live-action movie. The shooting mostly consisted of actors wearing motion capture suits and a special virtual reality camera that allowed the director to see the world around him.

After completing production, some of the best VFX companies in India started working together to bring the magical world of Pandora to life. In a one-of-a-kind, high-budget film that broke all records, no other film has come close to the ideation and imagination behind Avatar
