On March 11, 2022, the British Embassy Manila's Department for International Trade (DIT) hosted a virtual UK-PH Cybersecurity Forum in collaboration with the Bankers Association of the Philippines (BAP). In the Philippines, the importance of cybersecurity was emphasized, and DIT Country Director Richard Colley stated that the event “aims to help develop partnerships and build links between the UK and the Philippines, as well as collaborate in addressing cyber security issues.” The United Kingdom is open to international collaboration, particularly with countries like the Philippines that share our values of democracy and transparency.”
Three cutting-edge organizations presented their advances during the gathering to demonstrate the UK's abilities and network security arrangements and made sense of how they can additionally help the Philippines in becoming digital tough in the quick computerized world.
