Madina is one of the most holy places in the whole world. People call the city “the Prophet's city.” The last prophet of Islam, Muhammad , is at peace in the holy land of Madina. Because of this, every Muslim has a lot of respect and love for this city and feels a strong connection to it. The city has a magical effect on people who visit it. Once you've been to Madina, you'll never forget it. The air in Madina is calm and makes you feel like Prophet Muhammad is there.

Muslims go to Madina after going to Ziyarat for Hajj or Umrah.

Ziyarat is the process of making a pilgrimage to places connected to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), his family, friends, descendants, and other important people in Islam.

Umrah can be done in a single day. Pilgrims must stay in Makkah for three to four days before they can move on to Madina. Travel agents are offering 5 Star 12 Nights December Umrah Package so that people can do Umrah. If someone wants to do Umrah in Ramadan, they can book Ramadan Umrah packages.

The virtue of Madina
“For people who believe, Madina is a holy place. If they could fully understand how good it is, they would never leave, and if they do leave because they don't like it anymore, Allah will send someone better to replace them. And whoever takes the sufferings of Madina with patience, I will be a witness (or intercessor) for him on the Day of Resurrection.” [Muslim]

Another great thing about Madina is that it is safe from Dajjal. Allah has put angels in charge of watching over Madina. “Ad-Dajjal (the anti-Christ) will go everywhere except Makkah and Madina. At every entrance, angels will stand in rows to protect Makkah and Madina from him. Then Madina will shake three times, and Allah will throw out all the nonbelievers and hypocrites.

Madina is where the beloved Prophet Muhammad was laid to rest. Under the green dome of the Prophet's mosque is where the holy Prophet Muhammad is buried. Abu Bakar (may Allah be pleased with him) and Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), two of his closest friends and the first two Caliphs of Islam, are also at peace with Him (Peace be Upon Him).

The soil of Madina
“The dust of our ground mixed with the saliva of one of us is a cure for our sick people,” said the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.

Allah is the smartest.

Ziyarat Places in Madina
There are many places in Madina's history that are connected to the Prophet Muhammad and Islam. The holy Prophet lived in Madina for 10 years after Makkah was taken. Muhammad lived there until his soul left this world. Pilgrims go to Madina to pay respects to the Prophet and to see the holy places in Madina. Don't worry about it; Madina's pilgrimage sites have nothing to do with Hajj and Umrah.

Masjid Al-Nabvi ﷺ The Prophet’s Mosque
The Prophet's Mosque is one of the most important places to visit in Madina. Allah decided on the land. The Prophet himself laid the first stone in the Mosque. After the Al-Haram, the mosque must be the second holiest Masjid. When the Holy Prophet Muhammad moved from Makkah to Madina, he built the Mosque next to the house where he lived. Hadith: “Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “Whoever performs forty prayers in my mosque without missing a single prayer in my mosque, for him is granted exemption from the fire of Hell, exemption from the punishment, and he shall remain free of hypocrisy.”

Abu Hurairah RA tells us about it. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, “One prayer said in my mosque is better than a thousand prayers said in any other mosque except Al-Haram.”

This hadith says enough about how great the Prophet's Mosque is, and it's important to go there with respect and love because the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is at peace there.

Roza-E-Rasool ﷺ
About going to Madina and doing the Ziyarah at the Roza-E-Rasool (the grave of the Holy Prophet ), the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said, “Whoever visits me after my death is like he who visited me during my life.”

Whoever does Hajj in Makkah and only comes to Madina to see me in my Masjid will get the rewards of two accepted Hajj. “When someone stands at my grave and says prayers for me, I hear them. If someone else says prayers for me somewhere else, all of his needs in this world and in the future are met, and on the Day of Judgment, I will be his witness and intercessor.” When you go to Roza-E-Rasool, you will be mesmerised, and it will feel like you are in a dream.

Masjid Quba
Masjid Quba's worth can be judged by the fact that it is mentioned in the Quran, in Surah Tauba, in the following verse: “Surely, a mosque built on religion from the start is more worthy of you standing in it” [9:108]

The Prophet said, “He who purifies himself at home and then goes to Masjid Quba and prays two rakah there will be rewarded with the reward of an Umrah.” So, if you are going on a Ziyarat to Madina, make sure you pray 2 rakah of Salah in Masjid Quba because the reward is the same as Hajj.

Riyyad-Al-Jannah
Riyyad-Al-Jannah is the area between the Holy Chamber and the Podium (Mimbar). It is thought to be a Garden of Paradise. At the moment, you can tell it apart by a green carpet called Rawdah. The carpet in Rawdah-Al-Jannah is green, while the carpet in the rest of the mosque is red. Even though most people call it Riyyad-Al-Jannah, the right name is Rawdah.

Rawdah-Al-Jannah shows a broad view of the area, with the dome of the Prophet's Mosque on the far left and the pulpit on the far right. Abu Hurairah RA said that Muhammad RA said, “The area between my house and my minbar is one of the gardens of paradise, and my minbar is on my reservoir.” This shows how good this pilgrimage site is in a lot of ways. Pilgrims try to go to the edges of the area because they believe that prayers and requests made here can never be turned down.

Ustuwaanah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her)
Here is where the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to pray before he moved to Ustuwaanah. The Ustuwaanah Qurah is another name for it. The reason for this is that Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “There is a place in this masjid where, if people knew how blessed it really was, they would rush to it in such a way that they would have to draw lots to pray there.” People asked her to show them where it was, but she wouldn't. Later, at Abdullah bin Zubair's (may Allah be pleased with him) insistence, she pointed to this place. So, we call it Ustuwaanah Aisha. She told them about the Hadith and showed them exactly where it happened.

Masjid Qiblayatan
The Mosque is important in many ways. As its name suggests, Qiblayatan means “the Mosque of Two Qibla.” It was there that Allah SWT told Prophet Muhammad to change the direction of Qibla from Al-Aqsa in Jerusalem to The Kaaba in Makkah while he and his companions were praying. When you go to Masjid Qiblayatan for Ziyarat, it is such an overwhelming experience that you will feel completely absorbed. You will also get to see the holy place where a command that changed the Qibla and made history happened.

Jannat-Al-Baqi
It is good to ask Allah to let you die in Madina, the city where His last messenger (PBUH) lived. Being buried in Al-cemetery Baqi's is also a very important thing. In the light of Hadith, Al-goodness Baqi's can be seen in a better light. The Prophet (PBUH) said, “On the day of the Resurrection, my grave will be the first to be opened, and I will be the first to come out. Then Abu Bakr (RA) will step forward, followed by Umar (RA). Then I should go to Al-Baqi and take everyone there with me. Then we will wait for the people who live in the Makkah cemetery. They will meet me halfway between Makkah and Madina.

Site of Battle of Trench
The Battle of Khandaq, also called the Battle of Trench, happened during the time of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The battle of Confederates is another name for it. Al-Ahzab was revealed to show that Jews and people who don't believe in Islam are working together against it. Pilgrims go to the place where the Battle of Trench took place. Salman Al-Farsi came up with the idea to dig the trench (RA).

The siege was a “battle of wits” in which the Muslims outsmarted their opponents and won with very few people getting hurt. Jews and Arab tribes tried to beat the Muslims, but they were not able to do so. So, the Muslim Army surrounded the area where the Banu Qurayza tribe lived, which forced them to give up.

Bir Osman
There was a time when Madina had very little water because it didn't rain much. Because of this, all the wells were dry and empty. Only one of the wells that a Jew owned had water in it. The Jew owner had a lot of bias and was not fair. So, he started selling water to Muslims at very high prices while giving water to Jews for free. When the Prophet Muhammad heard this, he asked all the Muslims, “Anyone who wants a house in paradise should buy that well for the Muslims.”

When the Prophet (PBUH) told Hazrat Osman bin Affan (RA) that the only way to get a house in heaven was to buy a well, he decided right away to buy that well. He went to that Jew and asked him how much he would take for that well, but the Jew told him that he would only sell half of it. Hazrat Osman RA bought half of the well and gave it to the Muslims in the name of Allah. Now Muslims could drink as much water as they wanted for free.

Now, no one was buying water from that Jew, so he asked Hazrat Osman RA to buy the other half, which he did gladly. Since then, people have called this well Bir Osman. The well is proof that the people who were close to the Prophet Muhammad loved God and were devoted to him. It also shows that they never hesitate to give anything to Allah.

Bir Al-Shifa
The Bir Al Shifa Well, also called (Beer Al-Shifa), is a well that is important in the history of Islam. It is about an hour's drive from the city of Madina, which is called the “Blessed City.” It is said that this well was first dug to help Muslim pilgrims who were going to Hajj or Umrah and needed water on their journey. Cheaper month to perform Umrah is March that’s why people prefer to book the March Umrah Packages. But the well's water was bitter and salty, which made people sick over and over. It is said that the Blessed Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was told that the water was bitter and unhealthy. He put his “blessed saliva” in the water, and because God liked it, the water turned out to be sweet and healthy. People still stop by this well, which is off of the main road, to taste the sweet water for themselves. The Well is strong proof that the Prophet Muhammad is the best.

Uhud Mountain
“The One” is what the Arabic word “Uhud” means. Mountain Uhud, which is in the blessed city of Madina, is one of the most important places on the Arabian Peninsula. It is both a geographical and historical landmark. According to a story told by Hazrat Anas (RA) about Mountain Uhud, the beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) once said, “Uhud is the mountain that loves us and we love it.” Muslims come to this mountain because they love the Prophet Muhammad .
The Mountain is on the gate to heaven, which is another important thing about it. On this mountain, the Battle of Uhud took place.

Mountain Ayr
The right definition of the word “Ayr” is “wild ass,” because its back looks like the back of a donkey. After Uhud Mountain, Mountain Ayr is the second-tallest mountain.
“This (Mount Ayr) is the Mountain of Hell, and Madina is stuck between Mount Thawr and Mount Uhud,” said the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). In Saudi Arabia, Jabal Ayr is in the southern part of Madina City. Nearly eight metres separate the Mountain from the Mosque of the Prophet, and it is also close to the Mosque Ali (Dhul Haleefah), which is one of the stations of Miqaat.

People have said that the Mountain is the Mountain of Hell. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) referred to the Ayr as the “Mountain on the Gate of Hell.” He said, “And Ayr is a place that doesn't like us and that we don't like. It's on the gate of Hell.”
