To maintain its pioneering position as a luxury crossover, Lexus has developed evolutionary changes to the RX. Currently, Lexus Philippines offers four RX variants in the local market. One of the latest additions to the lineup is the RX 350L.

Flexible internal layout
The Lexus RX 350L features a spacious third row and a wide cargo bay behind the third row. It also comes with a flat floor behind a third row fold, a pair of third row cup holders, and an easy-to-stackable tonneau and cover slide. To make it easier to load large items in the cargo hold, the RX 350L comes with an electrically folded third row seat and an electric tailgate for hands-free operation.
Advanced security features
To ensure that every occupant is well protected, the RX 350L features a high-strength crash absorption body structure. It is also equipped with 10 sensor-controlled SRS airbags. For better visibility, especially at night, the vehicle is equipped with wide-angle LED turn lights and dual-beam LED auto-leveling headlights.
Other safety features include hill start assist control, electric power assisted steering (EPS), anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic braking force distribution (EBD), rain-sensing wipers, clearance and reversing sensors, parking assist monitors, and blind spot monitors with visual parking assist and cross traffic braking.
High performance, energy saving power system
Under the hood of the RX 350L is a 3.5-liter V6 engine powered by a D-4S fuel injection system. The vehicle also uses Variable Valve Timing Intelligent Width (I-W) and VVM-I to allow the engine to switch between the Otto and Atkinson combustion cycles. The powertrain delivers 296 horsepower and 370Nm of torque. It is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission to improve the vehicle's performance and efficiency. The RX 350L also comes with a drive mode selection feature, allowing the driver to choose between three driving modes: normal, sporty and ecological.
Takumi quality and driver friendly features
Takeaki Kato, Lexus's chief engineer, envisions a smooth driving experience with the RX 350L. To provide easy handling and driving pleasure, his engineering team, together with the production team, worked on improving suspension and body stiffness.
The new RX 350L shock absorber is equipped with friction control devices to reduce high-frequency vibration caused by road defects. They also help the vehicle achieve excellent responsiveness.
Heritage and Origin
As the first luxury crossover SUV to wear the Lexus badge, the RX is considered the centerpiece of the brand's lineup. Each iteration of the RX has been updated to reflect Lexus's latest design themes, striking a balance between complexity and power.
