In late 2018 the Australian Bureau of Statistics reported that total job openings are the highest on record.


The US is also currently experiencing historically low unemployment. This is the new normal and we’ve seen it coming since McKinsey’s original “War for Talent” report in 1997! There is only one way to truly compete for top talent.
We MUST stop treating recruitment as a transactional process. We have to learn to play the long game and to employ strategies that are very similar to business development.
