The mystery of the mountains lies in the well-mounted trek to reach the destination, Triund Trek Just like a plethora of otheradventure enthusiasts, I was also looking forward to planning a trip back to the mountains, to feel the life again, which I e(cientlymanaged to complete.The beauty of mountains is awe-inspiring for any person from metro cities, but for us Himachalis, this is the reality, a beautiful andenchanting reality. We love and breathe in the mountains and our love for them is beyond any comparison, so traveling once in awhile from the hectic city life becomes mandatory for all of the people sitting afar to achieve their dreams.Without wasting your time and imposing the love of mountains in an article form, I would like to share with you my recentexperience to Triund, which was indeed much needed.Storytelling by Shagun SharmaWe were planning for this sabbatical from past few months and as irony strikes, the weather was planning for its trip, afterplanning and canceling every weekend we 4 friends -nally managed to dodge our boring routine life and go for this hike. PREVIOUS POSTNEXT POST However, irony still strikes. We planned to start the trek at 7 in the morning, but the rain has its ways, the weather was terrible andit was raining like most of the monsoon days in Himachal. Well, lucky us, maybe one of us whose stars worked, sometimes beingspiritual can help you to blames and praise the almighty.So, the rain stopped at 9 in the morning, till then we were looking towards the Dhauladhar ranges while sipping our cup of tea (themorning refreshment), and with the sun shining our faces started smiling, and we all knew this was about to happen, the trek wegave been planning from the past few years.We started our trek at 11:00 AM approx, well don’t get confused, we got out of our hotel, so after climbing the stairs of a beautifulhotel in Dharamshala, we took the cab, and drove towards Dharamkot

One more thing, don’t bring the big vans, otherwise, you won’t even reach the base.We reached the base at Dharamkot and started our trek, well you need to register yourself in the Basecamp, for protection issues,so be prepared for few more minutes of patience, which might drive you crazy, depending on the number of visitors.After registration, we started our trek, which seemed easy initially and funs too, there are few shops throughout the whole trek, somake sure to -ll your sources up from the beginning only. Till the half-point, the trek is really simple and fascinating, as you can seebeautiful Dharamshalawhile walking towards the destination.There are small stalls that o7er delicious meals. Once we reached the halfway point, we decided to give rest to our grumblingtummies, so we binged on some snacks while enjoying the view and relaxing our tired bodies.After an hour of clicking and laughing, we got up to complete our trek. Lemme tell you, the road after half point is pretty tricky ifyou plan on taking short routes. After the incredible trek, we reached our destination and mesmerized by the view, we all wereawestruck.
