Mental health is an important part of overall health and well-being. It is important to recognize that there are many different Types of Mental Health conditions that can impact an individual’s life.

Types of Mental Health:-

  1. Depression – Depression is a mood disorder that affects many people in different ways. It can be a one-time occurrence or can occur on and off throughout someone’s lifetime
  2. Anxiety Disorders: These include panic disorder, phobias, social anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and generalized anxiety disorder. Symptoms of anxiety can include feelings of fear, worry, and uneasiness, as well as physical symptoms such as increased heart rate, difficulty breathing, and tension.
  3. Mood Disorders: Mood disorders are characterized by persistent changes in mood and emotion. Examples include depression and bipolar disorder.
  4. Eating Disorders: Eating disorders involve extreme behaviors related to food and body image, such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge-eating disorder.
