Naaz receives a call from Shelly in the beginning of the episode, prompting Naaz to ask Nikhil why their wedding photo wasn't printed in the newspaper. When Shelly is with Jasmine, she gives her advice on what to say to Naaz. Shelly warns Naaz that if she doesn't act, Nehmat would overtake her as the top favourite, just like at the Sandhus mansion, and she will fall to second place. Hearing this, Naaz explodes in a wrath. She claims that she hasn't put in the necessary effort to come in second. Naaz chooses to first earn everyone in the family's favour, though. Jasmine believes Naaz will accept her assistance at that location Top Serial Katha Ankahee, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Anupama.
Naaz informs Rama that she wishes to prepare meals for Nikhil. Nehmat also chooses to prepare meals for Advait. Advait like Indian cuisine, whereas Nikhil prefers continental fare, according to Rama. According to Nehmat, she is solely capable of preparing Indian cuisine. They begin cooking. To win the family's affection, Naaz tries to get Nehmat to order a few dishes from a restaurant, but Nehmat refuses to lie. Naaz, however, considers ruining Nehmat's first dish.
Mallika brings food to Ekam at Randhawa's home and begs him to eat. When Ekam refuses, the foot plate accidently collapses. Kapoors are seated at the dining room table. Naaz and Nehmat also sit. According to the aunt, the daughter-in-law should prioritise serving the family first and foremost. When Nehmat and Naaz stand up, the aunt motions for Naaz to take a seat because the senior daughter-in-law should do it. Naaz is asked to serve by Nikhil, who claims that she can assist Nehmat. Ekam apologises to Mallika there. The latter observes Ekam's hurt hand and enquires as to what transpired. Ekam claims to have brought in a drug dealer. If he saw Nehmat, Mallika queries. Ekam remembers his altercation with Advait.
Nehmat is here presenting food to everyone. Shamsher departs, claiming to have a meeting. Before departing, Rama requests that Shamsher try the confections that their daughters-in-law had created and give them gifts. Shamsher gives in. He presents Nehmat and Naaz a jewellery while also eating the confection they had cooked. Nehmat is miffed when Nehmat receives a substantial jewellery. Before everyone goes, Naaz considers what to do. She requests that Nehmat give Advait some malai kofta. Nehmat agrees and is getting ready to serve Advait. Ekam enjoys Nehmat's Malai Kofta, as Naaz purposefully states. Advait storms off the dining table without eating after declaring angrily that he doesn't like Malai Kofta.

He continues by saying that Nehmat handled him strangely. As he thinks back on his time with Nehmat, he becomes emotional. Ekam's bandage is changed by Mallika after retrieving the first aid kit. Rama, on the other hand, queries Nehmat as to what transpired and why Advait seemed troubled. The aunt attributes Advait's foul attitude on Nehmat and Ekam's love, which is known to everyone. Ekam accuses Nehmat of betraying him and lying to him in front of Mallika. mallika sobs Ekam advises Mallika to forget her tears and stop crying for people who don't care about them.

Naaz is surprised that Jasmine knows all this. Jasmine says that she has a lot of dreams for her and she won’t leave till she fulfills them. Jasmine reveals how she planned to get Naaz married to Advait, but her love for Nikhil spoiled everything. Jasmine says that Naaz will always be in the second position while Nehmat, who had a forced marriage, will be in the first position. Naaz says that she loves Nikhil so much. Jasmine says that she knows that, so she will get Nikhil in Advait’s position. She says that Shamsher and Advait started to fight because of Nehmat and she will get Nikhil to Advait’s place when the latter falls. Jasmine says to Naaz that she will tell her how to do it. She asks Naaz to do as she says till that. Naaz nods OK.
Naaz prepares to leave for the post-wedding ceremony at the Sandhus estate. She sobs as she thinks back to a Facebook conversation she had with Ekam. When Advait gets there, he prepares to go with Nehmat. He refers to Nehmat's family as “double-faced individuals” and charges them with encouraging Nehmat's choice to wed him for financial gain. Nehmat becomes irate. Advait refuses to believe her and keeps criticising her family despite her repeated attempts to convince him that her family is not a factor in her decision. Advait is cautioned by Nehmat not to disparage her family.
