A very cool vintage Kenner Ghostbusters figure from 1987 by artist Wayne James. This figure was originally produced in 1986. This figure was the fourth in a series of six self adhesive stickers for walls. That would make it one of the first six figures we’ve seen from the set. We like to see a good variety of figures in our Kenner market, and this particular figure makes for a great addition to our collections. In the late ’70s and early ’80s, there was an explosion in the toy industry that was a huge investment for many of the smaller companies. However, in order to take advantage of this explosion, there were many companies that we're pushing the boundaries of what toy manufacturing could currently do, and what people would want to buy. Knowing what to push back on faded into the background as new companies took over the industry. Now, with the appearance of 10 years ago, it’s time for all those companies to come out of the shadows and find their places in the spotlight.

The Vintage Kenner Real Ghostbusters Peter Venkman figure is one of the most popular figures in American pop culture Self AdhesiveT abs. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, Disney had a very successful partnership with the Masters of the Universe brand. The company even released a line of toys based on these characters, including a Peter Venkman figure. Through this partnership, Disney was able to sell a ton of these figures as well as accessories. The best part? Many of these figures were based on actual “cast” figures from the film. Since there were so many.
