Vivo Y100 Teased

If you’re looking to upgrade your smartphone soon, you may want to consider the vivo Y100. This device was spotted on several certification and benchmarking sites recently, and it is expected to be launched in India soon.

The smartphone is rumoured to come with a triple camera setup on the back. It is also said to have a 5G-enabled display and an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor. It will also run Android 13 OS out of the box with FuntouchOS custom UI on top.

It’s a good thing that the Vivo Y100 is a capable midrange device, considering the price tag that it will likely come with. It should also be a great choice for those who are looking to get an affordable 5G-enabled smartphone that will work with all networks in India.

The Y100 will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with 2800×1260 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will also come with a fingerprint scanner under the display.

This new Y series smartphone is expected to be launched in India later this year. It is rumoured to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek processor and have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

In addition to its octa-core chipset, the Y100 will likely come with a 12MP primary camera sensor and a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It should also have a large 4,810mAh battery that supports fast charging technology.

It will be available in two color options, namely Black and Rose Gold. It’s a first for Vivo, as it has never before offered a phone with two colour-changing variants.

On the rear, the Y100 will feature a circular housing with three cameras. One of these is a standard lens, while the other two are telephoto lenses with periscope-style AF support.

The Y100 will also have a dual-camera module on the front, which is a common feature of most midrange smartphones these days. It is also rumoured to come with an LED flash on the front, which should help in improving low-light imaging performance.

In terms of design, the Y100 is a relatively compact device with an elongated body and flat edges. It is largely similar to the vivo V25 Pro, which was released last month.

However, the Y100 is slightly different from the Vivo V25 Pro in that it will come with a triple-camera setup on the back. The cameras are positioned on either side of the main camera unit and feature an OIS-supported sensor.

This smartphone will come with an octa-core MediaTek chipset and will be available in both 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM variants. It will also be priced at around Rs 27,000.

The device is expected to launch in India in the first quarter of 2022 and is slated to arrive in the market on November 22. It is also expected to launch in China and other Asian markets soon after.

The Vivo Y100 is a promising 5G-enabled smartphone with a premium look and feel. It should be a great option for those who are looking for an affordable 5G-enabled phone with all the latest features.
