Park Min-kyung (Gyeongbuk Development Corporation) won the first “all-around” 토토사이트 medal for South Korea at the 2023 World Weightlifting Championships.

Park competed in the women's 64-kilogram competition in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Tuesday (Nov. 10), recording a total of 97 kilograms in the snatch, 123 kilograms in the jerk, and 220 kilograms in the total.

Park finished sixth out of 45 competitors in the vault, but took first place in the beam to win gold. She also won a bronze medal in the all-around in third place.

At the Olympics and Asian Games, only the all-around medal is up for grabs, but at the World Championships, medals are awarded for both the all-around and vault events.

Previously, Park Joo-hyo (Goyang City Hall) and Lee Sang-yeon (Suwon City Hall) 스포츠토토 won silver and bronze medals in the men's 73kg and men's 67kg respectively, but Park became the first Korean to win an all-around medal.

Park, who finished third overall in the 64-kilogram category at the 2021 World Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, added a bronze medal to her collection two years later.
