I've made quite a few three-day visits to Vegas (in fact, I went once simply to watch Usher perform, which is my all-time favorite day trip). But when I try to plan the ideal Vegas itinerary for you guys, I always get overwhelmed by all the things to see and do!
Since moving to San Francisco, we visit Vegas frequently each year and have been there hundreds of times. There's always something fresh to do there.
We always like our time in the desert, even though it lacks the beaches we yearn for in other places (Hawaii, San Diego, and Half Moon Bay, I'm looking at you).
Where in Las Vegas Should I Stay?
When I mentioned that Las Vegas is renowned for its opulent hotels, did you catch my attention? If, however, you dozed off in paragraph two… You should get some coffee so you can read these 2,000+ word instructions again!
For your 2 days in Vegas, whether this is your first or 100th visit, you should book a hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. The four and a half mile stretch of hotels and casinos along Las Vegas Boulevard is what I mean when I refer to “The Strip.” There are opulent, distinctive hotels in this area that rival those in any nation you can imagine.
The Best Los Angeles Travel Schedule for First-Time Visitors
I spent ten years of my life living in Los Angeles. I grew up in a LA suburb for a significant portion of my formative years before attending UCLA for my undergraduate studies and being thrust into the center of the city.
I'd say I lived my best years in Los Angeles. I want to make sure you have the best possible time during your visit because I adore this city so much. Therefore, whether you're visiting LA for a weekend or a week or longer, I've put out an itinerary that should be simple for you to follow.

- To save money, purchase a travel pass! You'll spend money on these activities because there are a lot of places to see and things to do in Los Angeles. Obtaining a travel card might make things better!

Go City Los Angeles All-Inclusive Pass: If you intend to visit as many sights as you can in the few days you have available to tour LA, it is typically worthwhile to get the Go City All-Inclusive Pass. If you choose to get the multi-day card and intend to visit any of the amusement parks (except Disneyland), the pass will have already paid for itself. You can view the list of attractions here.
An itinerary and travel guide for first-time visitors to San Francisco
When I was a young child living in Los Angeles more than twenty years ago, I took a trip to San Francisco. It's safe to say that I had very little memory of the initial visit. When my job took me to the Bay Area, I finally had the opportunity to explore the city as an adult.
This was my second trip to San Francisco, and I was nervous. I had read that petty crime was at an all-time high and that the city has declined since the outbreak. I think Tony Bennet is still correct, though, after spending five days seeing the city; I really did leave my heart in San Francisco. And, dare I say it, San Francisco may be my favorite American city.
