What employers are offering and what employees really want

Naked Fridays. Yes, that is a thing. At least for one company in the UK that hired a psychologist to help them boost morale – and took his rather off-beat advice to offer naked Fridays.

I don’t know about you, but the thought of seeing my coworkers in a bathing suit does my head in – much less in their all together.

This is an extreme example of how companies are offering weird and wonderful things to keep their people from leaving.

But as I’ve said many times before – they are concentrating on the wrong things. Now I like a good perk as well as anyone else – but they don’t actually address what people really want.
