The purpose of a transformer is quite simple; to convert high voltage output from a transmission line to low voltage output suitable to end users for domestic, commercial, or industrial purposes. It is employed to transmit power from one circuit to another through electromagnetic induction. They are mainly used in distribution networks to step-down or step-up voltages to suit the needs of the end users. These devices come in many variants based on the need of the requirement, however, the most commonly used variants are the liquid-immersed ones. The power range can vary between:

  • Large power transformers – 100 MVA and above
  • Medium power transformers – upto 100 MVA
  • Low power transformers – 500 -750 KVA

A power transformer operates on the principle of “Faraday’s induction law.” It is the main rule of electromagnetism that determines the working principle of motors, inductors, generators, and electrical transformers. The power transformer is commonly performed in full load since it is modelled to have high efficiency at 100%. Power transformers lead to large voltages during step-down and step-up, the windings have great insulation when compared with other variants of transformers. Hence, it is most suitable for operations which consume a lot of power such as manufacturing plants.

The Indian economy has progressed greatly in the last three decades owing to the opening of the economy in the 90s. It houses numerous manufacturing plants, particularly for automotive, steel, and electronics. This, in turn, has increased the demand for high-performing power transformers which is essential for keeping a steady supply of power to the production units day after day. Esennar Transformers is among the most prolific companies in India engaged in the production and distribution of performance-driven power transformers for the last two decades. Given the pace at which the economy has developed in recent years, the onus is upon us to ensure we meet the needs of our clients with each of our offerings. Quality products, timely delivery, and impeccable customer service are the backbone of all our efforts and undertakings. Considering the rapid pace of production, our systems are built to undertake all scales of production without compromising on the quality of the end product. As an ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001: 2018 certified organisation along with a long list of other accreditations and accolades, we are driven not merely by our goal to meet our revenue and sales target but the zeal to excel in our trade and create benchmarks for others to emulate over time.
