What is Wagyu beef and where does it come from?
Wagyu is a Japanese word for cows from Japan. Translated literally: “WA” is an abbreviation of Japan and “Gyu” means cow. Wagyu means Japanese cow. Fielding's Wood Grill is proud to be a livestock in Minnesota that grows and sells true Wagyu. Wagyu is an ancient type of cattle that has genetic origins traced back more than 35,000 years to Japan. Initially Wagyu was used as an animal design for agricultural work, and for physical stamina. Wagyu cattle are currently a product crossing this type of Japanese native with imported black breeds from Great Britain, Korea and Europe.

Competing with this multi-national company about prices is not a decent choice.
After months of research and planning, Fielding's Wood Grill was born with a mission to make a vertical integrated Wagyu beef company that will allow family farmers and local meat processing factory to develop by supplying superior products.
