As far as modern PCB manufacturing technology is concerned, electronic products are advancing at a very fast pace and it has a great impact on our daily life. Human habits of using electronic products are changing. This PCB manufacturing and assembly technology advances have brought many advanced devices in the world that we could not imagine about 10 years ago.

A PCB is usually usually a green piece of component that can be rigid, flexible, rigid-flexible with various electronic components on it. After the manufacturer mounts the different components on the PCB we call it a PCBA board. These assembly or soldering techniques include: SMT assembly, DIP assembly, hybrid assembly, BGA assembly, etc. A PCB consists of a substrate made of glass fiber, components, copper layers for making alignments, holes for mounting components and layers that can be both inner and outer layers. At FS Technology, you can get prototype rigid PCBs with 1-56 layers

The inner PCB substrate and electronic components are insulated with a solder resist layer and held together with epoxy resin. In addition to our common green boards, there are a large number of other colors of solder resist layers: red yellow, purple, etc. The function of the circuit solder resist layer is to block the components from the tracks to avoid a short circuit in the circuit board or a short circuit in the components.

The role of PCB copper traces is to transfer the signals of electronic products from the left side of the board to the right side of the role. Common types of signals include high speed digital signals and discrete analog signals. Customers can make their own demands on the manufacturer, and FS Technology believes in making thicker traces to carry power/electricity to power the components.

For 5G base stations or microwave circuits that require the use of high power currents or voltages, the PCBs used in the circuit are set up with a ground plane, and the top PCB components are connected to the internal GND plane or internal signal layer through “vias”.

PCBA fabrication, or PCB board assembly, is the process of mounting electronic components onto the surface of a bare board circuit so that the circuit will function as the engineer intended. Electronic engineers design these circuits for the purpose of realizing PCB functions. If the assembly manufacturer makes a slight mistake in the assembly work, the PCBA will not be able to run. Common mistakes made by non-standard PCB assembly manufacturers include: wrong placement of SMD components, scratches on the bare PCB, and no electrostatic treatment.

There are many functions of PCBA, some complex and some simple, it all depends on the customer's needs and description. Manufacturers perform fully automatic SMT or DIP assembly of these PCBs depending on various factors
