When A Cat Attacks Another Pet Or Human Companion After Seeing A Strange Cat Through The Window

Cats are known to have keen survival instincts. Aggression toward their companion is triggered even by the slightest threat or danger they sense. This undertaking is often supported by the fact that sometimes seeing a stranger cat from the window initiates the fight or flight mechanism that produces their adrenaline and prepares their bodies for an incoming or expected danger.

The immediate dramatic responses of felines to sounds or even when they see other cats toward their companion are possibly accidental. In given circumstances, relationships are irretrievable between two felines that live in one home if one explicitly attacks despite the innocence of the other.

Experts advise giving cats a day or two of separation. Doing this will help the felines relax and forget about the conflict with one another. However, should there be active aggression after re-introduction, you must separate them once more but for a longer period.

Make an appointment with your veterinary hospital Seminole, FL if you have any concerns about your pet’s behavior.
