Where the Crawdads Sing 2022 Movie Review. This is one of the most anticipated movie of 2022. Screen version of the book by the famous writer and zoologist Delia Owens. The book cleverly intertwines mystical, detective components, as well as descriptions of nature. The theme of “swamp creatures” in the state of Carolina appeared in art before cinema appeared. And, perhaps, even before the United States appeared, with the first French-speaking settlers. For American, and even European, culture, the main character is archetypal – a strange woman named Kiya, who lives near the forest. Still not to be strange – she grew up on the outskirts of the swamp, her father is an alcoholic and a tyrant, her mother is a frightened and lost woman, brothers and sisters want to get out of home, city and state as soon as possible and still get out. But Kia remains. But it seems like life is gradually getting better, she finds new friends, reveals the beauty of the local thicket to them. But suddenly one of her friends is found dead.
