Which is the best MacBook of 2022? The updated MacBook Air or Pro? Or the new iPad Pro with an optional keyboard cover? There are certainly many choices to consider if you want to buy a new Mac Laptop in 2022, but which one will be the best? We will break down all your options and help you make your decision.

MacBook Air

The best MacBook for most people is still Apple’s 13.3- inch Air. It’s still our go-to laptop recommendation for everyone from students to coffee shop workers to road warriors. It’s also getting more powerful by leaps and bounds every year, without sacrificing its portability or affordability. The latest version includes a stunning Retina display – not just because it looks better, but because it makes new tasks easier to perform in less time with less effort. And that’s what we want from a computer: ease of use, speed, and power.

So why not spend $1.230 on a 13.3-inch Air instead of $2,580 on a 14-inch and 16-inch Pro? That way you can save money for all those accessories you need to make your Mac feel at home. (We recommend buying them now before they get so expensive that you can’t afford them.) You might even have enough left over to treat yourself to some ice cream.

Of course, if you prefer something bigger or faster, be sure to check out our guide to finding the best MacBook for you. Whatever size or shape you choose, though, we think you’ll agree that a MacBook is still one of the best computers around. If nothing else, just look at how much room there is inside for other stuff. Yes! Oh my God, I’m so sorry. Did I say room? I meant life. Yes, life . . . isn’t that right? Yeah.

Now comes with integrated wireless connectivity up to 802.11ac(Wi-Fi 6) MIMO 2×2 and Bluetooth 5.0 BLE as well as LTE support for 5G/LTE networks!

And since it’s an Apple product, you know it’s going to be super fast. The new Air now includes a 1.1GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 processor, which has enough power to handle most tasks you throw at it and then some. But if you want even more power, don’t worry: You will get RAM of 8GB (the standard) up to 16GB and storage space up to 2 TB with a battery life of up to 18 hours.

MacBook Pro

The best MacBook for some people is still going to be a MacBook Pro in 2022. It has what most people need and will serve you well in business and personal use. It’s a powerhouse of a machine that can do nearly anything you can dream up. You won’t find many laptops with power on par with it, so if power is important, get one.

MacBook Pro has a display of 13.3 inches, 14.2  and 16.2 inches and its battery life is great at up to 20 hours, 17 hours and 21 hours respectively.

If you want a more portable computer or one that lasts longer without being plugged in, then don’t look elsewhere. Also if you need a powerful workhorse, consider getting a Macbook Pro.

You might not like some of Apple’s design choices (such as ditching all ports except USB-C), but they help keep weight down and make your laptop thinner. These are tradeoffs that most people will happily make when they pick up their new Macbook Pro.

That said, there are certainly better options out there for portability. If you plan to travel frequently with your laptop, think about getting something lighter instead of a Macbook Pro as they are 1.4, 1.6 and 2.1 in Kgs. That said, none of these alternatives will provide you with quite as much power or flexibility as a Macbook Pro – which is why we recommend it above all others here.

As long as you don’t mind sacrificing some portability, a Macbook Pro is hard to beat.

So far, it’s easily been our favourite laptop for several years running and we expect nothing less from it. We should see an even faster processor and newer hardware that helps further push mobile computing forward. We should also see their storage of 2TB, 8TB and 8TB respectively; although 10Gbps is impressive today, we could eventually see speeds of 20Gbps or higher which would allow us to transfer large files quickly while simultaneously charging our laptop. All in all, it should remain an excellent choice for those who require serious processing power.

Conclusion:

This year has been quite good for Apple laptops, offering different models in a variety of shapes and sizes. The 16-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar offers an incredible power boost over last year’s model, and its new (and first) Core i9 processor makes it a high-performance dream come true. The 13-inch version stays relatively close to last year’s model, as far as specs go, but adds in more cores (again) and higher clock speeds.

And, finally, we have brand-new MacBook Air 13 that is thinner than ever before. It also features 8th generation Intel processors and supports up to 16GB of RAM – double what was available previously!

All in all, there’s something for everyone here but which one should you choose?

Well, that depends on your budget and needs.
