Why do people at protests approach police officers in riot gear and try to talk to them?

There is a human need to know, to hear different thoughts and opinions, even if it's from a stranger. This is why Police USA wants you the community working together instead of apart.

We believe in people and people first, people of good will.

Don't stop there. You must know that some police officers don't deserve the abuse they get. You must know that some police officers have had a hard life and were raised in the ghetto.

Let's give them a chance to grow up, to be good citizens, to help themselves and to help their community. Let's give them a chance to join the Police USA family.

We are looking for community members to join us in taking a stand against Police with riot gears. We need people who are willing to speak out for the victims of police abuse.

We need people who are willing to stand up for those who have been abused.

Why are people at protests violent?

If you were in a protest, you would have been there to call for awareness of social injustice. You would have been there to protest police brutality with riot gears. You would have been there to support the movement of the people.

People at protests are people who want to make a difference. The problem is that people at protests now, are often those who want to be part of a bigger movement, but they often end up doing the wrong thing and abusing other people.

People must learn to not only speak out, but must be able to stand up for what they believe. If you can't do that, don't come to a protest. People at protests need to be more focused and need to know their purpose. People at protests must realize that they need to be peaceful and not abuse anyone.

There is no excuse for abusing people. These people aren't thugs.

The people at a protest are a part of the solution and not the problem.

If people want to help, they should speak out. If you see people abusing others, say something. If you see someone being taken away in handcuffs, say something.

People need to know that people who are part of a protest aren't the enemy, but instead, they are the solution. Don’t be afraid to speak out.

A lot of people who are involved in the protest are really hurting people.

There is a reason that you feel the way you do. There is a reason that you feel like this.

Be aware of the fact that if you are part of the problem, you are also a part of the solution.

BE HONEST ABOUT WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT POLICE

Why do you think people at protests are often people who want to make a difference?

I think people are upset about what's going on in the world. I think people are frustrated and angry about the direction that our country is going in.
