The recent launch of NeuroPrice has introduced the first innovation into the Amazon repricing software space in many years.
In this short article, I'll give the top reasons I swtiched from RepriceIt to NeuroPrice.
Since making the switch, I've seen a boost in overall sales, as well as my ASP ("average selling price") in my Amazon bookselling business. The precision of repricing options introduced by NeuroPrice is unmatched by any repricing software I've tried.
What makes NeuroPrice different?
I'll list every advantage NeuroPrice offers sellers in a second, but most of these benefit stem from NeuroPrice being the first repricer that isn't dependent on Amazon's "API" (the technical term for how most 3rd party software gets their data from Amazon)
Since NeuroPrice works directly inside Amazon Seller Central, it is able to get data that Amazon won't share via their API (which all other repricers depend on).
This means increased repricing options, and more data than any other repricer can access. When I compared it side-by-side with RepriceIt, NeuroPrice was able to "see" more FBA data, and compare my price to a larger number of competing offers than RepriceIt (who can only compare to the lowest price.
These two advantages alone (among several more) inspired me to switch to NeuroPrice.
Here's every reason I've found NeuroPrice to be the superior repricing tool:
#1: NeuroPrice dosen't force you to only compete with the lowest priced offer.
Specifically. NeuroPrice lets you compare your offer to the 2nd and 3rd lowest competitor. This is an incredible advantage over other reprices like RepriceIt, who only allow their users to price-compare the lowest offer.
The reason no other repricers offer this ability, according to NeuroPrice, is something called the "Bundle Blindspot" that Amazon imposes on other software that depend on their API for data. Specifically, this "blindspot" means that Amazon "bundles" some offers together and shares them with apps as one single offer. This prevents any app (like repricers) from seeing 100% of results.
I've found that this advantage allows NeuroPrice to raise prices more than other reprices, since the other force prices down by only allowing you to compete with the cheapest offer.
#2: NeuroPrice has no FBA blindspots
This is another "blindspot" Amazon forces on software tools, where they don't share any FBA offer that's priced too high (higher than the lowest 20 overall offers).
Since I'm an FBA seller, and FBA offers being priced higher than the lowest 20 are very common, this is the biggest advantage NeuroPrice offers to me. Unlike RepriceIt, I know I can always compare my offer to the lowest FBA offer in 100% of instances. RepriceIt does have the FBA blindspot, so it cannot make that guarantee.
This alone converted to a significant profit books for me.
#3: NeuroPrice works inside Amazon
As far as I know, NeuroPrice is the only repricer that is also a Chrome extension. So it works on any computer where Chrome is installed.
From there, it adds repricing controls directly to the Amazon repricing page. You can set all your pricing "rules" (where you tell NeuroPrice what to do), and then NeuroPrice automates the repricing based on the rules you set.
This is the first repricer I'm aware of that reprices in this way. Very innovative!
#4: NeuroPrice is cheap
RepriceIt is the cheapest repricer on the market, but at the plan I'm on, NeuroPrice is only $2 more per month (NeuroPrice ahs three pricing tiers based on the number of SKUs in your inventory).
The added precision and options of NeuroPrice means its virtually guaranteed that it will pay for itself many times over. It's hard to estimate, but I suspect I was losing at least $150 a month dues to the blindspots mentioned above when I was using RepriceIt. Paying an extra $2 to make $150 seems like a pretty good deal.
Repricing matters for your Amazon business
When I did the math on what the added precision of NeuroPrice would mean for my Amazon revenue, switching to NeuroPrice from RepriceIt was an easy decision.
"The precision of manual repricing, with the automation of repricing software"
This is how NeuroPrice touts itself, and I'd say this sums the reason I chose NeuroPrice perfectly.
