If you do not know it yet, ferrets have flexible spines and bones. They can perform various unnatural positions – letting many think these animals do not have a structural makeup. But they do. For the record, they have three sacral vertebrae, five lumbar, and fifteen thoracic vertebrae. Their structural composition is just so flexible and can adapt well to their environment. Ferrets also have these processes but they are thinner – allowing them to move with more agility and flexibility.
