While these suggestions and techniques aren't necessarily new, Google says the company now recommends the following best practices.

Google says the company inspires you to create deals pages for all special promotions, not just Black Friday and Cyber Monday and create a singular page for each promotion.

Google says to include the event description in the page title. The page title is typically involved in the text showed in the dealing carousel.

In addition, be sure to include photos related to the sale. Google wrote that this photo should be a “highlighting photo that can help buyers understand your product”. For example, show products that are on sale or add banner text highlighting special offers or discounts. While Google generally discourages banner text in images, text in images can help deals pages. Any text in the image should be reflected in the text content on the page and in the appropriate alternative text attributes. Google mentions that the image feature ratio is between 4:3 and 3:4, to minimize collecting in the skill carousel.

This can help Google correctly classify the page as related to a specific sale, be sure to include text describing the event in the page content.

Where there isn't much content to put on that page prior to the event. Google said to include general information about the event in advance so that Google can understand that the page is relevant, and then ask Google to re-crawl your page after it's updated to increase the chances of getting your updated content on time indexed.

On the Merchant Center side, Google said that you may also want to register your promotions in Google Merchant Center to show your deals on more platforms on Google.

Remember, Google suggested the best practices for Black Friday back in October. Which will be conclusion just before and at the end of Black Friday. Ironically, one of the suggestions is to use the request indexing tool.
