Jack Dorsey, Square's co-founder, said in a statement saying that Ahuja “brings us a deep understanding of ecosystem businesses, and she's a purpose-driven, disciplined and has a strong growth mentality.”
Ahuja worked for Activision Blizzard for more than eight years, where she held a number of financial positions, including the VP of Finance and Operations and VP of Strategy and Business Development, prior to becoming CFO. Prior to making the move to Activision Blizzard, Ahuja worked at Fox Networks, Walt Disney and Morgan Stanley.
Ahuja's resignation of Blizzard comes not long after the company's controversial announcement about World of Warcraft at BlizzCon earlier in the year. Kotaku reports that there's an increase in friction between management at Activision and Blizzard The report also states that Blizzard is seeking to reduce costs.
New update: Netflix is officially announcing the appointment of Spencer Neumann, who becomes Netflix's CFO. He will be taking over from David Wells. There's not a single announcement in the Netflix press announcement about his new job at Activision. The California-based publisher announced the chief financial officer Spencer Neumann was notified on December 31 that his contract with Activision Blizzard was terminated.

The company was able to decide to end Neumann's contract “for cause unrelated to the Company's financial reporting , disclosure controls and procedures,” Activision Blizzard said in US Securities & Exchange Commission filing. In a PR statement it was stated Neumann was “terminated for cause for violating their legal obligations towards the Company.”
Neumann is currently taking paid leave, and he's been offered the opportunity to “demonstrate the reason that no grounds exist to terminate his employment or that termination of his employment is not otherwise justified.”
Activision Blizzard chief corporate officer Dennis Durkin is taking over for Neumann as buy WOW WOTLK Classic Gold CFO during the interim. Should Neumann end up leaving Activision Blizzard, Durkin will be officially appointed to the post as CFO, the company said. Durkin was CFO from 2012 to 2017.
