In a survey last year, it was found that 2018 would be the year of video content. Visual contents are easily grabbed by the audience and becoming more popular day by day. It is the reason that more bloggers are creating YouTube channel every day. But there is another thing which is gaining the momentum right now. Can you guess? Yes, it is Podcast.
In layman language, if YouTube is the new TV then Podcast is the new radio. You can listen to it anywhere and anytime. I love to listen to Podcast while cooking.
But if you are shifting to create an alternative content for your blog, what should you choose? YouTube or Podcast?
With YouTube, you can show your skills, share knowledge by making tutorials and be you. There are endless opportunities for YouTubers. You can start a channel on anything nowadays.
But this is not the case with Podcast. People can’t see your face and read your expressions. In Podcast, it’s your voice and thoughts which are shared with the world. You talk about your idea instead of showing it online.
Personally, I love both the platforms. There are YouTube channels which I love watching for the information they share. And I love some Podcasts as they offer amazing insights into the world of blogging and online business.
