Belavia Belarusian Airlines, also known as Belavia Belarusian Airlines, was founded in Minsk. It is the flag carrier for Belarus and is a state-owned airline.

Ryanair Flight 4978 was destroyed in an accident that occurred on May 23, 2021. Ryanair was expelled from the European Union and the United Kingdom.

4.Air Belavias Popular Hubs and Destinations

Before the COVID-19 Pandemic was declared an emergency in public health, Belavia flew to Asia and Europe from its base at Minsk National Airport. Belavia offers charter flights to VIP and leisure charter destinations. Ryanair Flight 4978 was cancelled on the same day. It served one domestic destination and 54 international destinations. The airline was unable to fly to 20 destinations after the ban on Belarusian airlines from entering the EU, UK, and Ukrainian airspace.

5. Air Belavia Check In and Boarding Pass

The passenger must be at the airport before departure to check in their luggage and pass through the security checkpoint. The airline will notify passengers two hours before departure.

The gate will close 40 minutes before departure. The gate number can be changed at the airport. You must ask for the number of the gate you want to board at the airport when you arrive. You may not be allowed to board if you arrive late. We ask that you take your time.

It is illegal to transport live animals from Belarus to a Belavia Airlines OJSC aircraft. Belavia allows live animals to be returned between Belarus and the UK.

a.Baggage Policy and Fees

Economy Class: Current Belavia Baggage Benefit Rules

Economy Class, in accordance to the updated rules from October 2017 and an update of November 2019, offers one passenger a free allowance for bags

Promo hand luggage light 1 piece, up to 10kg without baggage carry-in

Hand luggage up to 10kg and check-in baggage up to 23kg

Hand luggage up to 10kg 1 item checked-in baggage up to 32kg Flex Tarif

Extra weight due to size, number or other factors will result in a EUR50/60/PS50 charge. The fee is not dependent on the direction of flight or the number of extra kilograms being transported. Any flight that does not meet the allowance will be charged a 50-euro fee.

Current Belavia Baggage Benefit Rules For Business Class

These changes did not have any impact on Business Class. Business Class offers a one-person baggage allowance.

2 pieces of checked baggage no more than 32kg, 2 pieces hand baggage no more than 10kg

Extra weight due to size or quantity will be charged at EUR5060/PS50. The destination and number of extra kilograms carried does not affect the amount of the charge. The 50-euro fee will apply to flights that exceed the allowance.

Additional Belavia Baggage Rules

All Belavia passengers are eligible for them free of charge

One handbag, one handbag, one briefcase, and one bag (bag). You can also use a video camera up to 5kg, maximum size 40x30x10cm, or one suit bag (or one piece of duty free shopping).

Animals can be transported in cabins with hand luggage (weight increase to 8 kg) and on individual passenger seats that are reduced to 23 kg (weight added up to the container maximum of 23kg).

Hand luggage is not allowed.

Transporting an animal in a single passenger seat will cost you money.

Transport of animals within the holding is subject to these charges:

These documents are necessary for air transport of animals.

c. Cancellation and Refund Policy

A e-ticket purchased through the official website is an air carriage agreement between Belarusian Airlines and the passenger. The contract is between the two parties, regardless of whether the customer paid for it. The air transportation contract can be ended by:

Passenger;

'Belavia' Belarusian Airlines.

Your air transport contract can be terminated at any time.

Any party can request it

Involuntary (for reasons that are beyond either of their control, such as cancellations or schedule changes).

You must have submitted the Flight Cancellation & Refund Application. An electronic ticket purchase is non-refundable.

If the passenger is older and legally competent, they must be the representative.

If the person is under 18 years old or legally incapacitated, they will be the legal representative (parents, guardians, or curators of adoptive parents' curators.

The passenger may request reimbursement if the proxy or legal representative of the passenger has requested a cancellation or refund.
