To get rapid pain relief, alternate between using a hot and cold towel on the area having pain.
  2. Turmeric – For a week, daily drink a cup of lukewarm water, along with a pinch of turmeric and a teaspoon of honey. Turmeric is well known for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, making it an effective medicament for joint discomfort.
  3. Oil Massage – Massage can help one feel better in general. It may also aid in the relief of joint pain and stiffness.
  4. Epsom salts – A calming bath with Epsom salts is a traditional cure for tight muscles and joints. Epsom salts, high in magnesium and sulphates, are quickly absorbed through the skin and provide instantaneous relaxation by diminishing inflammation, reducing muscular spasms, and relaxing areas experiencing tension. The patient should soak the affected area for at least twenty minutes in warm water in which two cups of salts are added. For better results, one should repeat the process.
  5. Fenugreek lepa – Its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory characteristics make it one of the most desired home-based joint pain therapies. A paste of fenugreek seeds, mustard oil, and water, works wonders in joint pains. One should apply this paste to the affected area or soak 10-12 seeds for one whole night and consume it early morning.
  6.  Drumstick leaves – They have anti-inflammatory qualities, making them great for alleviating joint discomfort quickly. To reduce pain, a paste out of drumstick leaves should be applied to affected joints.
  7. Cinnamon and honey – Cinnamon is an anti-inflammatory and is very helpful in avoiding joint pain. When coupled with honey, the spice's therapeutic powers are amplified. To alleviate joint ache and swelling, mix half a teaspoon of cinnamon powder with one tablespoon of honey in a cup of warm water and consume it on an empty stomach every day.
  8. TULSI – The mystical powers of holy basil on rheumatoid arthritis are well-known. It is anti-inflammatory as well as anti-spasmodic. Tulsi is also fruitful in alleviating joint and arthritis pain.
