New York is the best destination place for beach lovers. It provides good adventures, natural sceneries and good lakes etc. New York beaches have large numbers of visitors all over the world. Most of the people prefer beaches because of the high temperature in summer so they come with their families and spend the weekend on the beaches. On the coast of the beach food stalls are also available and there are no fees so anyone can enjoy the beach. Some of the new york parks offer free sunscreen to the public. It has the facility of swimming lifeguards also and makes every precaution for the safety of the public and has the spring shower. These beaches also provide activities like volleyball, amusement park and lively boardwalk. These beaches really melt the stress and create a feeling that you never experience.

Jones Beach

Jones Beach is located on the south shore of Long Beach. It is the most visited and crowded beach in New York. On this beach there are a lot of adventures to do like swimming, skiing, fishing, mini golf, basketball etc. 

 

Coney Island Beach 

Coney island beach is also the most populated beach and it is also a historical beach. The famous thing on this beach is Cyclone, it is a wooden roller coaster. There are a lot of varieties of  restaurants, shops, and cafes. There is a hot dog eating contest too from the Nathans hot dog shop.

Rockaway Beach

Rockaway beach is the oldest beach in the US. It is the only beach that allows surfing with legal documents. It also has activities like fishing, playground, volleyball and around 5 miles of seaside wooden street to enjoy. There are also a lot of restaurants and markets.

Jacob Riis Park Beach

Jacob Riis park beach is also known as ‘the peoples beach’. It is the most popular gay beach in New York. It also has the swimming beach and life guard active and has the outdoor shower facility and  food stalls. It also has the art decorated pavilions and has the boardwalk on the sea side.

Long Beach

Long Beach is also known as ‘the city by the sea’. It is also known as the cleanest beaches in the United States. The people who visit this beach are not just for swimming and sunbathing, they come to see the water creatures or animals because it's known by the name ‘Aquarium of the Pacific’. They also provide rental bikes and also give surfing lessons for their tourists. 

Orchard Beach

This is also known as the ‘Riviera of New York’. This is the Bronx’s only public beach and it has the most unique crescent shape. It also provides the stunning view of City Island that makes the visitor come in the summer. It also has a dressing room facility for the people. It has gentle waves so anyone can swim under the supervision of a life guard.

    

South Beach

South Beach is located on the eastern shore of Staten Island. South Beach is best for the family to enjoy their vacation. It has a lot of outdoor activities like volleyball, tennis, running on the broadway and it is also the best for cycling. It has the stunning view of Verazzano-Narrows bridge.
