By creating an account or using WriteUpCafe, you confirm that you have read these terms, agree to follow them, and are at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you confirm you have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
• Take responsibility for all activity under your account
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorized access

You agree to use WriteUpCafe responsibly and lawfully. You must not:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon intellectual property rights of others
• Post spam, malware, or malicious content
• Attempt to disrupt or compromise the platform
• Misrepresent authorship or impersonate others

WriteUpCafe uses automated and manual moderation to keep the platform free of spam, scams, and low-quality content. The following types of content will be automatically flagged, held for review, or rejected:

• Phone numbers in articles: Writeups containing phone numbers — especially multiple phone numbers — are flagged as potential support scams. Legitimate articles should direct readers to official websites, not phone numbers.
• Excessive outbound links: Articles with more than four outbound links are scored as potential link spam. Articles with more than eight outbound links receive a higher spam score. Links to suspicious domains (.xyz, .top, .click, .gq, .tk, etc.) and URL shorteners (bit.ly, tinyurl, etc.) are treated as high-risk signals.
• Brand support scams: Content that combines a well-known brand name (e.g., airlines, banks, crypto exchanges) with support phrases such as “customer service number,” “helpline,” or “call now” is treated as a support scam and will be rejected.
• Account panic language: Phrases designed to create urgency — such as “account locked,” “account suspended,” “refund not received” — combined with calls to action are indicators of scam content.
• Repetitive or template content: Articles that unnaturally repeat the same brand name, support phrase, or call-to-action are flagged. Generic AI-generated filler text is treated as a supporting spam signal.
• Banned words and phrases: We maintain a curated list of words and phrases associated with spam, scams, and prohibited content. Matches contribute to the overall spam score.

Legitimate news articles, consumer warnings, reviews, and analysis about these topics are generally not affected. Our system distinguishes between writing about scams and performing scams by evaluating the presence of direct calls to action and phone numbers.

WriteUpCafe reserves the right to moderate content to maintain platform integrity and safety. If content is restricted or removed, we will communicate the reason, reference the applicable guideline, and provide an appeal mechanism where appropriate.

Moderation actions do not transfer ownership of your content to WriteUpCafe.

All platform elements not created by users — including logos, trademarks, software, UI, and branding — are the property of WriteUpCafe or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer these materials without prior written permission.

You may stop using WriteUpCafe at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated, the platform is misused, or required by law.

Upon termination, your right to access the Services ends, but you retain ownership of your content and may request a data export where available.

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." WriteUpCafe makes no guarantees regarding accuracy of user-generated content or uninterrupted availability. Use of the platform is at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WriteUpCafe shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Services, user-generated content, or platform interruptions.

We may update these terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of WriteUpCafe after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
