On a regular basis, people inquire about what it's like for them to keep an eye on our games and observe teams as they attempt to flee. Sometimes the rush of attempting to flee overpowers people, and everything else is forgotten. In order to show you some of the weirdest things that have ever occurred within escape rooms, we thought we'd take you behind the scenes. While some of the tales come from our own locations, some come from other businesses that have posted their tales online, they're all thrilling.

People who give up halfway.

These people enter the room with the best of intentions and a determined attitude, but somewhere along the line they become engrossed in the atmosphere and decide to just take it all in. Forget about the escape objective; all these teams want to do is enjoy themselves for the remainder of their time in the chamber.

Reddit user frizzykid provided a fantastic illustration of this type of narrative: As the team's attempts to advance were failing, they made the decision to utilise a piano that was housed in their gaming room: One of my friends, who was a really talented pianist, actually approached the piano and began playing several tunes. The group as a whole was singing. What you can do to get the best out of the situation.

Another wonderful tale of individuals having a nice time even after realising they couldn't flee is shared by Reddit user Cat Call__. He recounts a time when two women realised they wouldn't get away during a game. They made the decision to rip up a piece of paper to use as confetti when he returned to the room to end their time rather than admit defeat. "I watched them do it on the live feed of the game," the player claims, "and there was nothing I could do but knowingly walk into the oncoming flurry of a teensy small bed of paper." They were at least cheerful about it!

People With Such A Strong Desire To Escape That They'll Do Anything

These teams, in contrast to the previous group of individuals, will never lose sight of their objective to flee. They will stop at nothing to do what they set out to do, even if that means skipping steps and not working through the clues in the proper order.

We understand that moment you enter your game room, you are in a completely different universe where everything you see could be a clue. But some of our teams interpret this too seriously. The Escape Game provides participants with a bin or basket in each of our rooms so they can store their items there while they play. People can become so engrossed in the game that they fail to remember that the items in the basket are unrelated to it. People have searched through their own team's jackets, purses, and even wallets in search of clues before realising that such things belong to them. Good for them for being thorough, but perhaps next time be a little less so.

Sunny person, a Reddit user, shared a humorous tale about some friends of theirs who went to an escape game. By chance, the pals were locksmiths, and they decided to take advantage of this throughout the game. They managed to escape room canada, but they did it without utilising any of the room's hints! They simply opened each lock individually until they were able to exit. Undoubtedly a creative tactic, but possibly not that enjoyable.

Teams occasionally spend their final moments in the room attempting everything they can think of in a desperate attempt to escape when they realise they probably won't be able to. Our gaming guides have undoubtedly witnessed this, and Reddit user MoonpieJunkie also has a related account. He tells how his crew began "yelling and hitting buttons/flipping switches/pulling levers in some wild hope that something would work and they would win" when they realised they just had a few minutes left. Nobody can at least claim to have given up!

People Who Solve Problems In Creative  Ways

These people are so inventive that it's likely they're not even aware of the escape room mississauga they came up with as a hint. Since we observe thousands of people entering and attempting to address issues from every angle imaginable, their efforts are frequently the most remembered. It is an uncommon and exceptional occasion that we won't quickly forget to witness an approach that we have never seen before.

Two locked drawers were stacked on top of each other in an escape game, as described by Reddit user Yocheeseburgers. One team member managed to unlock the top drawer without having to unlock the bottom drawer independently, allowing them to reach the contents of the (still locked) drawer below. Talk amazing ingenuity—they might have missed a few steps, but nevertheless!

We're going to allow Reddit user hawkeytown30's excellent account of inventive problem-solving (along with a healthy dose of luck) to speak for itself. We were expected to deduce the meaning of the word Waterloo from a series of hints and use a dictionary to determine that the Battle of Waterloo took place in 1815, he claims. In place of Waterloo, we get the name "eaterloi." We used a word scrambler to create aerolite after assuming it was an anagram. We learned from the dictionary that aerolite was created in 1815. Such a bizarre coincidence!

Stories that are Crazy 8. Our game guides have observed a pattern where numerous groups will think the same way in a row for no apparent reason—and not because they are on the right road. In our investigation, we discovered that this isn't specific to The Escape Game; other online escape room providers have verified the pattern. Consider a book on a shelf that most groups would ordinarily entirely ignore. For some reason, even though there is absolutely no connection between the groups, as soon as one group sees the book and believes it to be the key to their escape, numerous other groups will later have the same idea. Some people theorize that it has something to do with the item giving off an appearance of having been used while other people theorize that somehow, your ideas stay in the room after you’ve left. No matter what the reason is, it’s a strange coincidence that’s hard to ignore.

Believe it or not, players are becoming more and more interested in escape game suggestions. Almost every firm that offers escape rooms will have a tale of a customer who asked to be married in one of their rooms, typically by swapping out one of the last clues for a ring. This has also occurred here at The Escape Game! In our Prison Break scenario at The Escape Game Austin, a couple got engaged. Everyone involved will remember that hour forever!

Last but not least, we at The Escape Game advise players to use the restroom before the game so that they don't have to stop playing once they begin going. But we understand that there are occasions when you simply must leave the room to use the restroom. A participant in one of our rooms used the chance to relieve themselves behind a tree in our Gold Rush game since they were so engrossed in the experience that they didn't even bother to exit the room. Naturally, the game guide intervened, and the crew had to leave the room for a time while we cleaned the game entirely before allowing them to continue. If in doubt, use the restroom before playing to ensure that you don't end up in this situation.
