13-Day Amadablam Base Camp Trek

Ama Dablam is one of the beautiful mountain in Nepal and the views of Amadablam are seen from the Everest Base Camp Trail. All the trekkers, who are trekking to EBC-Kalapattar, Everest Chola Pass or Gokyo-Renjo La Pass see the Great view of Amadablam. However, Ama Dablam Base Camp Trek is becoming much popular these days itself. In fact, the Ama Dablam Mountain is a popular climbing peak in Nepal, and you require a special climbing permit to summit the peak.  However, just for trek to Base camp of Amadablam, only the normal trekking permits are enough.

Ama Dablam Base Camp Trek is an adventure journey that offers stunning views of the Himalayan Mountains. You get to see panoramic views of Mt. Everest (8,848.86 m), Mt. Nuptse (7,861 m), Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m), Mt. Pumori (7,161 m), Mt. Ama Dablam (6,812 m), Mt. Baruntse (7,162 m), Mt. Thamserku (6,623 m), and Mt. Kantega (6,782 m).

Ama Damlam Base Camp Trek starts after a short flight to Lukla, You then trek to Namche by staying overnight at Phakding. You spend an extra acclimatization day in Namche and walk to Khumjung village, where you visit the school and monastery. The visit of Khumsung villages offer you deeper knowledge about the local people, the Sherpas, their culture, tradition, religion and way of life. You then trek to Tengboche village, where you also visit the Tengboche monastery, which is the oldest in the region.

The trek to Ama Dablam base camp continue next day to Pangboche. You stay overnight in Panboche and leave bags at the lodge and make day trip to Ama dablam base camp. The trail to Ama Dablam base camp is pretty steep and much easier with a light day-pack. You return to Pangboche after visiting the base camp and stay overnight. You then trek the same trail to Namche Bazaar and finally to Lukla to take return flight to Kathmandu.

The Ama Dablam Base Camp is 8-day Trek, However, We at Outfitter Himalaya Holidays have 13 days program to complete the trek and that also include your arrival day, departure day, a day tour in Kathmandu and an extra buffer day at the end of the trek to use in case, if you need any extra day on the trek or if the flight to Lukla delay or cancel due to the bad weather condition, which may happen some times.

The Ama Dablam Base Camp Trek is moderate trek, which is suitable for all aged people and even with the children. You can also enjoy the view of Everest and many other Himalayas and you see all the attraction that you see on Everest Base camp trek. The only thing that you will not reach EBC on this trek and reach the Ama Dablam Base Camp.
