Here's a step-by-step guide to registering your business in 2025:
- 𝐆𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: Before heading to the Revenue District Office (RDO), ensure you have all the necessary documents listed in the Checklist of Documentary Requirements (Annex A1-A3). This will save you time and prevent any delays.
- 𝐏𝐚𝐲 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐞𝐞: You can now pay your registration fee *(RF) conveniently through various channels:
- Authorized Agent Banks (AABs)
- ePayment Channels of AABs
- Mobile Payment through Gcash
- Accomplish BIR Form No. 0605 under ATC-RF if you already have a Tax Identification Number (TIN).
- 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫: Once you've paid your fee, head to the RDO and secure a queuing number for the New Business Registration Center (NBRC) or a special lane.
- 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: Submit your signed Checklist of Documentary Requirements (CDR) along with the completed BIR Forms No. 1901/1903 (depending on your business type) and BIR Form No. 0605 for payment of RF. Make sure to provide duplicate copies of all documents.
- 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: If you have an existing TIN but are not registered with the concerned RDO, you'll need to apply for a transfer of registration by completing BIR Form No. 1905.
- 𝐏𝐚𝐲 𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐬: If applicable, you may need to pay additional fees or penalties on registration at the NBRC once called for payment.
- 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: Upon approval, you'll receive your Certificate of Registration (COR), Authority to Print (ATP), and a "Ask for Receipt" notice from the NBRC. You'll also receive an eReceipt as proof of payment.
- 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐠 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐭: Sign the log sheet indicating the date you received your COR and ATP.
- 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤: Complete the Standard Taxpayer Feedback System and drop it off at the designated drop box.
- 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐠: Attend the scheduled taxpayers' initial briefing conducted by the concerned RDO. This briefing will provide you with information about your rights, duties, and responsibilities as a new business registrant.
