One of my favorites The thing with Amsterdam light festival is, I just love them all. All the installations amuse and entertain me. Why? 'cos I love Amsterdam.
The crystals above, which are also diamonds floating on the sea, or tip of the ice berg or something else. It is fun!
Then there is Bapu! Gandhi said "Be change you wish to see in the world! "
And I humbly lived up to it in recent times. Well, there is Bapu in the center of Amsterdam, next to central station.
There are waves of the sea. Netherlands is a country below water level and it is the sea water in canals that keeps us up floating.
I actually took the boat ride this time and for 21€ it is a winter rid ein a semi open boat with plastic sheets covering the parts without glass windows. In any case the sheets and windows get foggy by the end of the hour long trip. Just FYI.
This is a feeble picture. But the "Whole Hole" from ALL2017 is one of the best. I see this every evening on my way back from work and just admire the dynamics. More pics
