An Ode To GDPR

You are here to launch,
GDPR GDPR,
Some still don’t know,
Who you are?

‘Do you still want our emails
After GDPR takes effect?’
‘Do you want to know
What information about you, we collect?’

‘Time is running out’
‘Is it our last goodbye (or not yet)’
It’s just a policy update,
Nothing for you to fret.

‘Please opt-in to keep receiving’
My inbox is flooding.
I am more keen to know,
What the future, GDPR will bring.

Talk of the town for now,
As if the World is about to end.
But, I am sad to tell few brands,
Not any more, I am their friend.
