The Environmental Benefits of Tree Planting

Trees take many years of growth to mature and are a symbol of the continuance of life that benefits the Earth, acting as silent sentinels in nature's plan. Trees and forests play a valuable role in the socioeconomic and environmental health of our communities - past, present, and future.

Strength in Numbers

While a single tree provides many benefits, when trees are planted together they create forests, where the ecological impacts are felt the most. Forests create natural, healthy habitats for life from the tiniest of insects to the largest herbivores, which allows for local plantings to have global impacts. Your memorial trees contribute to these forests and the more that are planted, the more noticeable and profound the effects. With the resources our program provides, and with your help, we have the potential to plant entire large sections of memorial forests.
