Currently serving as the President of CEPT University and leading HCP Design Planning and Management Private Limited, Patel has played a pivotal role in shaping iconic projects. Patel's portfolio boasts an array of noteworthy projects, including the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor and the revolutionary Sabarmati Riverfront.

Having completed his education at the School of Architecture, Center for Environmental Planning and Technology (CEPT), Bimal Patel further honed his skills through a Ph.D. from UC Berkeley in 1995. His diverse portfolio showcases remarkable projects such as the Kankaria Lake Development, Aga Khan Academy Hyderabad, Bhuj Development Plan, Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India building, Gujarat High Court, Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad New Campus, and Swarnim Sankul at Gandhinagar.
