Ather Rizta Suspension and Brakes
The Ather Rizta scooter is now bigger and lower than the 450X model. It has a special front suspension called a telescopic fork and a single rear shock absorber. For stopping, it uses a 200mm disc brake in the front and a 130mm drum brake in the back. It rolls on 12-inch wheels made of alloy and uses MRF Zapper-N tires, with the front being 90-section and the rear 100-section. The scooter weighs 119kg, the seat is 780mm high, and it clears the ground by 165mm.
Ather Rizta Motor and Battery
The Ather Rizta has a motor that's similar to the one in the Ather 450X, which means it's pretty powerful. It can go up to 80kmph. You can choose between two types of batteries: one is smaller and can go for about 123km on Indian roads, while the other one is bigger and can last for around 160km. Plus, the Rizta has two modes for riding: Smart Eco, which helps you save energy, and Zip, which gives you more speed.
Ather Rizta Features
The Ather Rizta has cool LED lights. The Rizta S model has a nice 7-inch screen, just like the Ather 450S. But the Rizta Z has an even fancier screen from the 450X, which shows everything in color. It has Google Maps to help you find your way around, but it's arranged differently for the Rizta.
The Rizta has some handy features borrowed from the 450X, like hill-hold assist to stop it from rolling back on slopes, a reverse mode, a smart eco mode to save energy, and a fall safe feature that shuts off the motor if the scooter tips over. The Z version also has 'Magic twist' and regen braking, which are pretty cool.
You can also do stuff like chat on WhatsApp or talk to Alexa while riding, thanks to the built-in features. There's a charging port under the seat that works for lots of devices, like phones and laptops. The 'AtherSkidControl' feature helps you stay steady on slippery roads by controlling how fast the back wheel spins.
And check this out: the Ather Rizta has a big 34-liter storage space under the seat, just like the Ola S1 Pro. You can even add an organizer that turns into a bag for your stuff. And if that's not enough, you can get an extra 22 liters of storage in the front as an add-on, making it a total of 56 liters of storage space!
