Leo Sardarian and Aron Eli Coleite have crafted a promising story that delves into the advantages and threats posed by AI. While their screenplay is engaging, there are moments where it falls short of being convincing. However, the sharp dialogue adds to the humor of the film. Brad Peyton\'s direction is decent, and he effectively manages the film\'s runtime. What sets this sci-fi film apart is its focus on more than just action and VFX. The bond between Atlas and the AI bot, Smith, is one of the most memorable aspects, with some dramatic and emotional moments standing out. On the downside, there are certain developments in the film that are difficult to accept. It\'s perplexing that General Boothe would immediately deploy soldiers to capture a dangerous terrorist like Harlan on a completely alien planet without any prior study.
