Try to fill the tub with warm water, rather than the hot water of the tub which is close to 104 degrees.Avoid the Use of Alcohol: Stop using wine, beer or any other type of alcohol. It is because alcohol moves directly from blood veins to the placenta and umbilical cord of your baby. It can be harmful to the growth of your baby’s brain and different organs.Avoid Sitting and Standing for a Long Time: Sitting in the same position or standing for a long time in same posture, can create various problems like swelling on the ankles. In case, you have to stay or sit for long hours at someplace, try to take short breaks and move around to keep your legs and other body organs in movement. Foods: Some foods which can be harmful to a pregnant woman are:Deli Meat: Although deli meat comes with the date of its packaging, still the users don’t know when it was brought for packaging. It is possible that it might be affected by a bacteria known as listeria. The presence of this bacteria affects the growth of your baby and sometimes crosses the placenta. You may also result in blood poisoning which can be dangerous for the baby.Raw Meat: Don’t eat uncooked seafood as it can be contaminated from toxoplasmosis. It can affect your digestive system and also the baby.Soft Cheese: Eating soft cheese during pregnancy is dangerous to your health. Most of the soft cheeses contain listeria, therefore it is better to go for soft cheeses like Camembert, Gorgonzola, Brie, and a few more.
