As early as the end of the 19th century, Ball watches became the watch of choice for railway engineers. After the Kipptown tragedy in 1891, brand founder Webb C. Ball was commissioned to develop the “Railway Standard” to ensure that all railway timepieces met accuracy and legibility specifications. Today, Ball Watch launches the Roadmaster Pilot GMT meteorite dial limited edition watch.
The new watch has a diameter of 40 mm and the case is made of titanium. Compared with the common stainless steel material, it is lighter and more resistant to scratches and corrosion. This watch is equipped with a screw-down crown and has excellent water resistance of 300 meters. The red and blue two-color ceramic bezel is marked with a 24-hour scale, which distinguishes day and night. Combined with the central pointer with a red arrow, it indicates the time information of the second time zone.
The dial is made from Gibeon meteorite, a meteorite that fell to Earth in prehistoric times and was discovered in Namibia in the early 20th century. The dial time scale uses the brand\'s iconic micro gas lamp to ensure excellent reading even in dark environments. In addition, there is a date window at 3 o\'clock.
It is worth mentioning that this watch has a true traveler GMT function. When the wearer travels across time zones, the local hour hand can be adjusted backward or forward in one-hour increments with the help of the push-button at 8 o\'clock or 10 o\'clock, while all other hands will not be affected.
This watch is equipped with the RR1204-C automatic movement, which can provide 38 hours of power reserve and has obtained precision certification from the Swiss Official Observatory Testing Agency (COSC).
