Best Youtube Vanced Alternative For Android

Youtube Vanced is the most popular modded version of the official Youtube application. It was developed by a team of developers from XDA until they received a cease-and-desist order from Google. Obeying the law, Vanced was taken offline by its developers. They had been instructed not to use YouTube's name and distribute packages that violate YouTube's Terms of Service. The team accepted that it was legitimate and there is no choice other than stopping Youtube Vanced development. So, Youtube Vanced Manager or Vanced APK is no longer available on the official website. But, you can download and install YouTube Vanced, Vanced Music, and Vanced microG if you already have the Vanced Manager app. Since the latest YouTube Vanced version is based on the recent versions of the official YouTube app, it will work until Google updates the YouTube infrastructure. However, the Vanced app will gradually stop working and users will need to switch back to the official YT app or another Youtube Vanced alternative. Let's get to know some of the alternatives to Vanced in case you need an alternative

NewPipe

Before arriving Youtube Vanced, NewPipe played a special role as an alternative to the official YT application. As same as the Vanced application, it provides most of the YT premium features for free including background playback, picture-in-picture, and video downloading. The inability to sign into your YouTube account is one of the highlighted drawbacks in Newpipe.

SkyTube

SkyTube is available in two variants. The first one is SkyTube Extra which offers closed libraries and supports the official YouTube player and casting. The second variant is completely open-sourced. Despite the variant, you will be offered video downloading, background playback, video blocking, no advertisements, and more on SkyTube as same as the Youtube Vanced did

LibreTube

Though LibreTube is still in beta, it's an amazing YouTube app. It has several important features that might persuade you to test it out. The fact that LibreTube uses Piped, so you never connect directly to Google's servers is one of its most intriguing features. You and Google are separated by a server (and LibreTube lets you select from a few). If you wish to subscribe to channels, you can create an account on that server, but you aren't actually subscribing to a service provided by Google.

Final Word

According to my knowledge, I don't think any modded version of Youtube would take the place of Youtube Vanced. However, we have to pick an alternative soon. I hope this information will be useful for you to pick up a suitable alternative.
