If you’re considering buying a wireless smoke detector with control panel, there are many options available. These devices include the Kidde One-Go-All-Go, PROSiXSMOKEV detector, and Kidde Smoke Obscuration Report. Listed below are some of the features of each device.
PROSiXSMOKEV detector
The PROSiXSMOKEV wireless smoke sensor has a tamper-proof design and is equipped with a tamper alert. This feature detects the tamper by sending a signal to the control panel. You can also make this device tamper-proof by breaking off a small pillar on the base. The detector will then latch onto the base. To remove the detector, you’ll need a small screwdriver to release a catch and twist the detector out of the base. You’ll then be able to add the tamper-proof feature to your system.
The PROSiXSMOKEV wireless smoke detection device has a multi-criteria alarm that can be used with ProSeries control panels. It features a 360 degree viewable LED, a 200-second check-in compatibility, and audible instructions to help you respond to a smoke alarm. The PROSiXSMOKEV is compatible with the PROA7 and PROA7PLUS control panels. It has a user-friendly design, a multi-language interface, and a trusted algorithm.
Kidde One-Go-All-Go
This Kidde smoke detector is compatible with both wired and wireless systems. Both use the same base and can interface with alarm systems. However, the One-Go-All-Go is more complicated to install, as it requires additional wiring and programming. You may want to purchase two detectors or more to save money.
This smoke alarm also features a memory feature. This feature allows you to quickly identify if the alarm has been activated. If the memory is active, a red LED will illuminate every 16 seconds for 1.5 seconds. This memory will remain active until the Test/Hush button is pressed. If the battery drops below eight volts, it will reset the memory, which means that only the alarm that caused the alarm will be activated.
These alarms are interconnected to provide early warning of a fire. Interconnected alarms are recommended for newer homes, but they are not required in older homes. Wireless technology makes interconnected alarms possible in any home. Kidde offers two options for interconnected smoke detectors.
Kidde Smoke Obscuration Report
