You can accomplish this using the web management portal or through the Linksys WiFi app. As both portals allow you to use the management option including the wireless settings and checking it’s working. So, choose any option from those processes and visit the management window of the extender network. But, make sure to use accurate details while accessing the web management window. Whereas, in another process, use the official and updated version of the app. Doing so will enable you to manage the network trouble-free for sure.
After visiting the window, go to the wireless advanced settings of the extender. Try to swap the bandwidth channels of the extender and check the dual frequency bands working. Then, check the number of devices that are currently connected to the extender network. Ensure those devices are your own ones, not any external ones. If you find any unauthorized user on the network, then try to remove that. To do this, change the network password and make it strong enough this time. To make it hard to guess, use some special characters while creating this. Thus, external users will log out from your network in this way.
