First, let’s explain the term. CPA, also known as cost per action, or cost per acquisition, is an advertising method where publishers get money for an action taken as a result of their advertisement abilities.

What makes this marketing method different from the typical affiliate marketing programs is that it is not required to make a sale in order to make some extra money. Most often, when you make a deal, payment is based on the generation of leads and actions. These include getting a phone number, or an email address that people give out to get some free product or information.

Sales/Landing Page – this is a direct sales webpage, and they usually offer more detailed information about the products or services they provide. It is usually an indirect sale. The reader should click through to the advertiser’s site and make the purchase there if interested, or at least provide an email address. Clicks do matter for the affiliate since the profit depends mainly on that;

Splash Page – these pages don’t use a lot of content or product details. Instead, they go for flashy graphics that are supposed to encourage the reader to provide personal information or click through to the advertiser’s website.

What Can You Do to Get Accepted into CPA Networks?

This is probably the first thing that comes to your mind once you start considering CPA Marketing as a way to make extra money. There isn’t one way that works, but there are a few things that do help.

First, if you don’t already have a website, don’t wait and create one. Some networks can accept you without one, but if you want to increase your chances – this is where you start.

Second, use an email address on your website’s domain. This will ensure networks that you are a reliable candidate and not a scammer. It simply looks a bit more professional.
