How to create a new cloud database
The cloud database is hosted by the Vuforia Cloud Identification Service, which provides the means to identify up to 1 million+ target images. You can create a cloud database in Vuforia Target Manager by following the steps below.
Go to the Target Manager in the Vuforia Developer Portal.
Press Add Database. The Create cloud database dialog opens.
Give the database a name and select the cloud database option. The database name should be unique to the developer account you are using.

How to add target to cloud database
Image targets can be added to the cloud database using the Vuforia Target Manager or the Vuforia Web Services API.
Add a target to a cloud database using Target Manager
Go to the target manager page. You will see a list of existing databases by name and database type.
In the database list, find and click the name of the cloud database to which you want to add the target.
In the Add Target dialog box, define the name and width of the target.
Note: Developers wishing to use cloud databases with location device trackers should specify the target size in meters.
Upload the target image and optional metadata file.
Click the Add button to create a new target in the cloud database.
How to delete a target from a cloud database
Go to the Target Manager in the Vuforia Engine Developer Portal and you will see a list of existing cloud databases
Click the name of the database containing the target to delete. You will see a list of targets in the database.
Click the check box next to the target you want to delete in the target list, or check the box next to the target name to delete all targets.
Select Delete from Actions
How to view details of cloud databases and their targets
All existing databases are displayed on the page with the following information:
The application name of the application that allocated the database.
Database type
The total number of targets in the database.
The date the database was last modified.
