The other day an individual who visited my website approached me wondering about very unusual autographs of the "Rat Pack" members. Today I wasn\'t so troubled with the very fact she didn\'t like JSA, but what I came across so unsettling is that this is a critical problem within the autograph souvenirs industry. And, it basically makes almost every autograph Entire life Guarantee COA WORTHLESS! Sure, I claimed ineffective! Why? Because what this supplier did is completely VOID her duty by issuing a COA that had NO requirements, no standard. So, irrespective of WHAT or WHO authenticated that autograph, most of the seller had to complete was differ with the finding. I guess for days gone by 20 years I believed different dealers given COAs that secured the customer and NOT eliminate all responsibility of the seller. I believed all trustworthy traders did what I\'ve done for days gone by 20 + years and that\'s especially state in the COA "what is really a non reliable autograph" ;.Anyone who has acquired from people can easily see on our COAs that we state "if it fails PSA or JSA authentication" ;.Ergo, there may never be a issue, if such a scenario should arise. No room for meaning, no wiggle room for the seller, number scamming the customer.

Meanwhile, after this conversation took place, I began going right on through all my COAs from other dealers, dependable dealers. And you know what? NO ONE, NOT ONE supplier describes in his/her COA what takes its low genuine autograph. Therefore, are these different traders honoring their Life time COAs? And who do they take since the "ultimate word" on the autograph? Do some state PSA or just JSA, or perhaps refuse ANY 3rd party certification? Who knows? But, until the COA specifically claims who and what validation is adequate in order to recognition a reimbursement, it is really a guessing game. And, certainly not in the favor of the buyer.

Today I am aware you will find reliable retailers that WILL recognition a PSA or JSA finding. But, why leave it open for model? Why not utilize a standard on the COA, so the consumer will not need to worry must the above mentioned situation arise?

1). Proceed with caution with ANY vendor that employs NO alternative party authentication, PARTICULARLY for high end items. Maybe not that every product they feature needs PSA or JSA but that the seller engages a standard. Even though certification services are not great, they\'re an experienced 2nd opinion AND an view that is independent and has NO financial curiosity or opinion as does the vendor offering the item. Also, think hard about any supplier that\'s against 3rd party authenticators as it might indicate they have something to hide.

2). Retailers who provide bad pictures or NO close-ups of the signature on the internet site, so you can\'t simply study the autograph. They may have grounds why they don\'t want one to see close-ups. For instance, merchants selling "clipped" signatures of high end stuff like Dan Franklin for $15,000 and not post a up close image of it on their internet site. AND, number third party authentication. Some of those traders are relying on the new, weak buyer (i.e. victim) to come along.
