The 2020 pandemic indeed shook the world as businesses and industries suffered significant losses as travel restrictions continued. Suppliers find it difficult to ship out their products and incoming imports take too long in warehouses due to the lack of delivery systems. As oil and gas companies also took losses, the demand for renewable and cheaper energy suddenly increased. Coal, oil, and gas prices have suffered depressing losses, and while it is still unclear how wind and solar energy will fare after the pandemic, innovations and technologies are far easier to incorporate in the industry and this can be strengthened especially in areas that receive the most solar energy.
