VIT is also known as Vishwakarma Institute of Technology. It is an autonomous institute of engineering, Pune, India. VIT was established in 1983. It is affiliated with Savitribaai Phule Pune University. It is the first private college to obtain an academic economy in Maharashtra. It was established under the guidance of Bansilal Ramnath Agarwal Charitable Trust. In 2017, Vishwakarma Institute of Management was established as a State Private University.

This college has over 2800 students, 225 faculty, 67 laboratories, and 1 central library. It is spread over 7 acres.

VIT ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Students need to take MHT-CET or JEE MainAdmissions are done on the basis of ranks in entrance examsThe score of MHT-CET is mandatory.Shortlisted candidates will be informed about further developments.Candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate.Physics Chemistry and Mathematics will be compulsory in 12th to get admission in VIT Pune.Candidates should also have to appear in JEE or MHT-CET and should have a valid score of the same.
