1 - Nho Que River - the longest river in Vietnam’s northern
Nho Que river originates from Yunnan in China, then flows into Vietnam in Lung Cu commune, Ha Giang province. It is also the border between Sam Pun road and Ma Pu Leng mountain pass. From a height, the river is like a gently winding thread surrounded by verdant forests and majestic mountains. The top of Ma Pi Leng at an altitude of 1.200 high is ideal to have a panoramic and extraordinary view of the river. It does not include banks, but rice fields on both sides. Thu Bon river or Mother River, located in Hoi An town, Quang Ninh province, stems from Truong Son mountain range at a height of over 2,500m. The river is of great significance in forming the geographical shape of the location and its history.
